Repair
- All boots sent back for repair will be subject to inspection; we cannot guarantee that we will be able to proceed with repairs until we have inspected the boots.
- We do not stretch boots; they will need to go through a size exchange if eligible.
- We do not bring boots back for squeaks as we do not have a repair solution that eliminates the possibility of squeaks in an all-leather boot.
- If we have any questions regarding your repair we will call or email you; we will not perform any work on them until we have heard back from you.
Rebuild
- Nicks may agree to rebuilding the boot based on the external condition of the boot, only to find internal damage after the boot has been taken apart. In these cases, the boot cannot be put back together and a new boot will need to be purchased.
- Rebuilds are not returnable for any reason not covered under our manufacturing warranty.
- Rebuilds can be purchased directly on the website or you can call and have a Customer Service Representative assist with placing the order. We do not issue shipping labels in either case.
Resole
- Standard resole and rebuild prices are estimates only. Additional work may be necessary, resulting in additional charges.
- We will only be able to replace the outsole and heel during the process of a resole. Any other changes (like size or last) will need to be done during a rebuild.
Boot Cleaning
- Boots will be cleaned and conditioned. With this process, the leather is not guaranteed to be the same color/texture that they were received in.
- If boots were sent in for a rebuild/resole and a cleaning, they will go through the cleaning process prior to being repaired.
- We will not guarantee the water resistance of any boots after cleaning and conditioning.
